SENIOR / SEMI-SENIOR UX/UI DESIGNER

ABOUT US
We are a Texas TechEd startup founded in August 2020. Our mission is to enhance the online learning
experience for better teaching and learning. We work with institutions and instructors to improve the quality
of online higher and professional education.

YOU
We are looking for an experienced UX/UI Designer to help us turn our software into easy-to-use products for
our clients. Your engagement involves understanding user needs, designing solutions to user problems and
creating delightful experiences. You master design and wireframing tools. You have a portfolio of
professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications.
In short, you will design experiences that solve real customer problems and help us grow our
customer base.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Discover user pain points and opportunities in collaboration with product managers
    and engineers.
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
  • Design graphic user interface elements.
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function
    and look like.
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct usability tests.
  • Create and maintain style standards for fonts, colors, and images.
  • Code design with HTML5 and CSS3.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 4-year work experience as a UX/UI Designer.
  • Design Portfolio Projects.
  • Knowledge of wireframe tools such as Wireframe.cc and InVision.
  • Knowledge of design software such as Adobe XD, Sketch or Figma.
  • Knowledge of multiplatform libraries and web app design tools (such as Bootstrap)
  • Knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, Team Player.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Deep Knowledge and Design Thinking.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish languages -oral and written-.
